Glam Glow, Hollywood’s Magic Mud

You may have heard about it. There’s a good chance one of your favorite celebrities uses it. It may even be sitting on the counter top of your hotel room’s bathroom, depending on where you’re lodging. Glam Glow Mud Masks have been sweeping the nation as a top beauty must-have. And once the SOHO Ladies got wind of it, we had to see what the buzz was all about.

Now one can admit that, at first glance, it seems a bit gimmicky. The accompanying brochure for the product is embossed with bold, metallic silver lettering. Upon opening you are met with the black and white image of a man and woman, both of whom are presumably high-fashion models, with wonderfully glowing skin:

Open further and you’ll find rich imagery of a beautiful sea, tea leaves, and an erupting volcano. Once you’re able to draw your eyes from the colorful photographs, you’ll read some well-written descriptions of different benefits, saturated with trigger words like “groundbreaking” and “glam-tastic”. Great for marketing, but a lot of flash can often cover up not-so-fabulous products. And savvy consumers will know very well that the “ancient volcanic pumice rock” is no different than the normal pumice stone we’ve all been using for years.

However, don’t let the hyper-marketing strategies deter you from trying it out. Samples for both the Youthmud mask and the Supermud mask are available upon request. If you have acne-prone skin, try out the Supermud Mask for smaller pores and an overall smother complexion. If you’re just looking for a healthy glow on your skin then go with the original, the Glam Glow Youthmud. Either way: once you try it, you will want more.

Both masks give a slight tingle and, after removal, produce a radiant glow for your skin. The creators of GlamGlow used innovative technology and included all the best ingredients to wage war with every problem your skin has ever faced. Dull skin? That’s what the glow is for. Complexion/texture problems? These masks have lactic acid for that. For troubled skin in general, I can personally vouch that your skin will become smoother, and your pores much smaller.

It’s no wonder why so many celebrities use and endorse this product, needing flawless faces for the red carpet and highly prestigious events. The absolute bottom line? It works magic and it is worth every penny. And it’s now available at SOHO Lashes, so come get your facial in a jar 😉

  1. Thanks for this review. I have been watching the Glam Glow mask for a while but wondered if it were worth the hefty price tag!

    • No problem! It’s definitely an investment, but a really good way to make it last is to use it as a spot treatment on problem areas 😉

I wasn’t sure it was worth the price either but I got a free sample from an order I placed at Beautysak.com so I gave it a try. I cannot believe I had waited so long to get it. When I bought it they then sent me a sample up the Super Mud Glam Glow which is for problem skin and I ended up buying that one as well! LOVE
