SOHO Lashes Look Book: Kristin

We recently had the pleasure of doing a makeover on Kristin, pictured below, and wanted to share with you the step-by-step process of creating her makeup look!

_MG_0535Kristin naturally has amazing skin, due to her faithful skincare routine that leaves her with a smooth, texture-free canvas. In spite of this, her skin was a little on the dry side, so we decided to give it the extra hydration it was craving with the Mario Badescu Moisture Magnet with SPF 17. (FYI: With the sun beaming at full capacity these days, it’s absolutely vital to make sure your moisturizer has SPF protection in it!)

We always start our makeup with brows and eyes. First, we filled in the brows with The precision Brow Pencil in Brunette by Kevyn Aucoin and highlighted the brow bone with Kevyn Aucoin’s Sensual Skin Enhancer in SX12. We wanted simple, natural eyes, applying our concealer as the base and applying a medium brown to the crease and a light beige to the lid. We lined the lid with our favorite gel eyeliner: Inglot AMC Gel Liner in No. 77. The finishing touch for the eyes was Stila Cosmetics’ Major Major Lash Mascara. For the face, we started with one layer of Becca Cosmetics’ Ultimate Coverage Complexion Creme.

_MG_0563Since we did simple eyes, we decided to go for a bold red lip. Our go-to is Stila Cosmetics’ Long Wear Liquid Lip Color in Fiery. For the cheeks, we applied Stila’s Custom Color Blush in Pink, and followed up with Becca cosmetics’ Shimmering Skin pressed Powder in Opal. To further intensify the eyes, we applied Ingot cosmetics’ Kohl Liner Pencil in 01 on the top and bottom waterlines. We topped up the entire look with lashes! We used Velour Lashes’ Whispie Me Away strips.
